Can my iphone 4g support games iphone 3g?

Yes iPhone 4 is more powerful with 512mb ram and a4 processor. Where as iPhone 3G has 128mb ram so the amount of ram is 3times more in iPhone 4. So iPhone 4 can easily play any games that are suppoted on iPhone 3G and moreover the only reason why the games won't work is because some developers assign a key to their application

Ex: supported platform = "3.1"

So if this key is assigned then you can't play as the program will check this key and auto shutdown that particular game or application.

SOLUTION?: well download ifile through Cydia and then go to that particular application folder

Ex var/mobile/applications/nfshotpersuit/

And then open the file nfshorpersuit and open it with notepad and simply edit the 3.1 platform to 4.1 or 4.2 if you are on that

If you mean support games from the iPhone 3G, then of course.

Here you have lots games to download, it updates daily.
