Iphone 4s 5.1.1 jailbreak problem, no network?

I jailbroke my dads iphone 4s 5.1.1 last night, i downloaded iblacklist from cydia for my dad, he needed it, then this morning we noticed he wasn't getting any calls or texts, we tried to erase all content and setting, then it was taking way to long so we done a hard reset by holding power and home for 20 sec or so, then we had no signal at all, now i have just done a factory restore and cydia has gone which i'm assuming means its not jailbroken anymore, so we were still getting to network, i tried resetting network settings and still no network

Hmm… Try to restore it with itunes. If not then you need to check for its kernel and Software which might have been changed. Then you need to go for its service center and it might be chargable b'coz jailbreaking makes it out of warranty

Is it using an O2, Tesco or GiffGaff SIM?

Tesco and GiffGaff use O2s transmitters so thats why it affects them too.

There isn't anything you can do, they are working on it. Its not your phone or SIM it is O2 and is affecting most people on O2 in the UK today.

If not, then call the network customer services to check the network settings.
You've already tried the other things I would have suggested such as a hard reboot etc.

  • Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case.   • Reset network Settings iPhone 5 problem? My iPhone 5 was jailbroken. I did a reset network settings since my network wasn't working for over an hour already. I got to the apple logo then it went all black. It didn't turn on. I tried doing hard reset but it didn't work. All it did was turned it on to the apple logo then turn off again.   • Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
