IPhone 4S car charging problem?
My iPhone 4S charges fine when plugged into a wall charger, but will not work in my car's USB port. I bought a charger that goes in the cigarette thing, and still nothing. It's not my car thats the problem, because my friends have used their chargers in my car & it worked fine. I might use one of my extra USB cords cause that might be the issue, if not, it might be my phone. I'm not sure though. Anyone have any idea what might be the issue?
I've found that (some) Apples are pickey of the large plug that charges/sinks the 4 & earlier model phones (& the iTouch's too.)
Are you using an official Apply cable or an aftermarket one? The Apple ones tend to work better and last longer.
My 4S works with almost any wire. But my wife's will only charge with the OEM one, or she gets an error message 'does not work with this accessory.'
Try a new, "Apple" cable. That should help.

Inside my car I have a zagg dual USB car charger. If I plug in my phone or tablet to charge will it ruin my car battery if its not running on gas?
