Iphone 4s, do you still have one? Do you like it?

I have never had a smartphone, but am now eligible for an upgrade. I can't afford much, and the iphone 4s I can get for 1 buck with my contract (actually it would cost 31 bux, with the 30 buck activation fee, and that is for the 8 GB storage). It'd be $50 + the $30 activation for one with 16 GB (so that's $80). I don't think I can afford a 5S. Is the iphone 4s too slow? Do you have one, and do you like it?

Added (1). I know that it's obviously not as good as the 5s! I wasn't being stupid in the slightest bit! The question was if it is "too" slow, or if it's not so, so bad to have as my first smartphone… I don't want a phone where I'll suffer through it…

Yes i have it it bit slow compare to my 5 bit.bit only a minor difference

I have a brand new 32GB iPhone and how fast it is depends on your carrier. From my experience, everyone loves AT&T, and I do too. My iPhone 4S is very fast and it's practically my baby. I can't go anywhere without it and don't like other people touching my phone, lol. One thing I like about iPhones is that they're fairly simple to use in my opinion. Team smartphone! More specifically, team iPhone

Obviously yes it is going to be (way) slower since it is an older phone, especially compared to newer models like 5s. The 4s have A5 chip where as 5c have A6 and 5s have A7 chip processor.

Overall it is still a good phone right now (though won't hold that title for long).

And keep in mind, 4s have tinner screen size and limited or "missing" functions of what the newer models can do, so don't expect you will get everything what the newer models have.

Get the iPhone 4s, if you never had a smartphone before you will feel like a caveman being taken on a spaceship and it will be amazing, this was the case when I bought the 4 as my first smartphone. The smaller screen is the biggest difference between the 4s and the new phone, it is slightly slower but you won't notice unless you play super high resource games, the camera and display screen are essentially the same with the 4s and 5s, and even 8GB will hold all the apps you could ever want unless you load the phone with 1, 000 songs or a few movies or something.
