Iphone 4s got wet & now the camera shutter won't open

Okay so i dropped my iPhone 4s on the step of the pool, with the headphones in the jack & it was submerged for like a good 5-7 seconds. The phone still works except the LED light is stuck on and after attempting to dry it with a hair dryer which got rid of the condensation on the camera lens. I turned it back on and the camera shutter is stuck closed. I'm So PISSED BECAUSE THE CAMERA IS HALF THE REASON I LOVE THIS DAMN PHONE! The sound is a little weird too, kinda crackly sounding and not as loud as before.
i have it in a ziploc bag of rice right now. ANY ADVICE(other than going to apple and getting ripped off for a new phone ) ON HOW TO GET THE CAMERA TO WORK?

i'm freaking out

  • Why won't my iphone 5s camera shutter goes to silent? I've turned my phone to silent, but the camera shutter still won't go to silent. It makes a really loud sound and when i screenshot something, it also makes a loud sound. How do I turn it to silent without jail breaking? I've been using this Cymera app cause it can take pictures without making a sound but the quality isn't as good as the original camera app.
  • My iPhone 4s got wet in a storm. The camera now won't work I have tried to reset and restore. I've tried closing the app, restarting my phone. Everything else works. It's just the camera that doesn't work. After my phone got wet I put it in rice for 24 hours (although for most of the time my phone was on!) Can someone please help me? I bought my phone second hand on gumtree so I couldn't get it insured and I'm not apple with help as the phone is not register to my name! In snap chat my front camera works!
  • My iPhone 4s got wet, and it has been in rice for 2 days now, It won't turn on? Like I said it has been in rice for 2 days now, the lock button was broken before it got wet, so it won't turn on, even if it is plugged in the charger. What do I do? How can I get it to work again?
