IPhone 4S No Service ABROAD?
I have had my iPhone 4S since December 2012 I had a contract with the phone but the contract has since ended! Whenever I had taken my phone abroad it had always said NO SERVICE I could not get a signal no matter what I tried, from the minute I landed to the minute I left and this was every trip.
I have since gone on to pay as you go on the same iPhone I'm wondering if it's likely to be a handset issue or if it was a SIM card/account issue?
Were you using the Local SIM? If you were using your regular SIM abroad unless you r roaming it will say NO SERVICE. Try buying the Local SIM
- What to turn off on your iPhone when going abroad? I'm going away today and i need to to know what to turn off so I'm not going to charged AT ALL. Every last bit please! And also if i connect to a free Wi-Fi abroad will it charge me? And what does it mean by in notifications where it says sort apps "manually" or "by time"?
- Searching for a free Wi-Fi service or, a low-cost Wi-Fi service for myself? Have recently lost everything and must be able to search the web to find help. I do have phone service, no Wi-Fi. Have iphone and apple laptop. Any replies/answers are much appreciated… Thank you.
- Same network, Iphone 5 only receiving Edge service, Iphone 4 receiveing 3g service? Running IOS 6.1.2 on Iphone 5, 6.1 on Iphone 4 Both on O2 Can't get 3g service on iphone 5. Iphone 4 can and they are both in the same room, any ideas why?
- No service message on iPhone while abroad? I'm on Orange in the UK, and have arrived in America today however I can't get any service on my iPhone 4, I have tried turning it off and on again, manually choosing the service but it can't connect, as well as reseting the network settings but it's still not working. My friend is on Vodafone and hers came up automatically when she switched her phone back on after the flight… Has anyone got any ideas on how to get mine to work?
