IPhone 4s using huge amounts of data WHEN NOTHING IS OPEN?
I have had my iPhone 4s since October 2011. (Note, I have NOT downloaded the iOS6 as I like my google maps just fine.)
My data plan is 1G per month. Up until last October 2012 I had never even come close to my monthly allotted usage. However, last month I went Way over. I downloaded 'My Data Manager' at the suggestion of my phone company (Telus Mobility Alberta) and I'm seeing random huge data dumps.
For instance, since 2200 hrs last night I have only received 1 text message on my phone, all the applications were closed out (nothing running off-screen) and the phone was in the charger while I was in bed. I checked my data manager this morning and somehow I used 333 MB of data. WHILE I WAS ASLEEP AND NOT USING THE PHONE.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Or how to figure out just what this is?
It could be roaming… I think you may have a problem similar to me, as soon as i turn on data, my prepaid credit SAPS LIKE HELL even if i'm not using it… Quite worrying:/

- Will there be a huge difference between the Iphone 4s and Iphone 5? I'm just wondering what you guys think… Because i don't think there will be a massive one. I currently have an iphone 4s and think well what else can they really do apart from make the screen wider and overall a thinner model. It's already quick enough and the camera is awesome. Also the same ios is going to be available for the iphone 4s and 5 so they'll just the same almost! I know they may have some new feature or two but really have they reached the max yet?
- My IPhone 5s uses extrodinary amounts of data, how can I fix that? I just got this on the 22nd and my data reset the 24th so I didn't pay attention to that. In the past week I have been on safari for 30 minutes at the most on a chat forum and 15 minutes on ifunny and somehowbi have used about 155mb of data. There's nothing according to the cellular section that is using an extreme amount of data. Should I just back up my phone and reset it? Or is there something else I should try
- Is there any way that I can control powerpoint on my mac using my iPhone? Nothing fancy, just flicking between slides? I have already tried Apower, and the remote made by Microsoft doesn't work with my version of powerpoint…
- Iphone 16gb or 32gb? Huge difference or no? I'm getting an iphone i'm wondering if the 16 gb is enough amount of space. I can't find a32 in mmy price range.
