Iphone 5 brightness problem?
I got my iphone 5 on monday, and it has been working fine up unitl today, when the brightness of the screen suddenly stopped working. I can still see the screen, but it is very dark. How does fix this
Turn auto brightness off, and then turn up the brightness and see if that fixes it.
If not, try restoring your phone as new by plugging it in to iTunes. Then see if it works.
If it still doesn't work, and the problem persists despite attempting all above, I recommend speaking to Apple directly - preferably by taking your phone to your nearest Apple store.
Hope this helps.
I think it's display problem.

Solution: I found that replying to an email and doing the three finger tap to zoom in and then zoom out fixes the scren brightness problem. Weird I know but it works. My screen dims every time I do a soft reset.
- Will charging my iPhone battery on full brightness increase battery length? If I adjust it to full brightness while charging and once charged 100% adjust it back to a dimmer screen will this increase the battery's life span?
- Iphone problem, high contrast and brightness low, why? I was playing a game on it. The phone got discharged. I charged it. Switched it on unlovked it and i found that the brightness of. The screen is so low and high contrast display. I bought my iphone5 recently. I never dropped the phone or mishandled it. There's no pixel bleeding or cracks. I updated ios but it didn't get fixed. I need help coz i live in a country where there's no official iphone care centre, i will have to use mail to send it to apple for repairs.
- IPhone auto brightness- how does it really work? Once I unlock my 4s, the screen either gets brighter or darker, depending on lighting. Now, let's say my screen adjusted itself to a brighter setting in a bright room. Without turning off my phone, I move to a darker room. Now shouldn't the brightness automatically dim? Or is this how the feature works (adjusts only when device is unlocked)?
- Iphone 5s (or watever iphone you have) Do you guys leave auto brightness on or off? I realize that when I'm at home, my battery life is quite long compared to when I'm outside. Obviously when I'm outside there's more sunlight, hence making the phone reach full brightness. So I decided to turn auto brightness off and set it miyself. (usually halfway down.) Just wanted to know do you guys turn auto brightness off? And does it affect your battery life? F
