Iphone 5 fell into toilet water

Ok so I accidentally had my phone falling out my pocket into the loo which i quickly took out but forgot to turn it off unfortunately because I was so panicked and i also put it on charge for like 5 secs then realized I shouldn't do that. I dried it and put the phone into rice and it is still there. But before I put it in the rice the screen was just pure red but i still just turned it off and put it in the rice.

I'm now just wondering I'm probably going to have to have it repaired or replace. Now I don't have insurance but it has a warranty but I know they don't fix water damage.

How much would apple charge me to get it replaced?

By the way I bought it from Tmobile so do I go there or go to Apple store instead.

I'm just super confused any help would be more than appreciated.

It happened to me too! Except with iphone 4.it will take a few weeks for it to start working properly again. Or you can get it replaced with could be pricey. Put it in some rice (it will absorb water)

Hello threre i hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are gonna have to pay for the repair if that is possible? It may be broken beyond repair! Or you may have to replace the device. Having a warranty don't really mean anything unless the phone breaks from natural causes i.e. The lock button breaks by itself.
If you are the one that breaks the phone like dropping it or water damage then there's no way you would be covered by the warranty.

I'm afraid that the heat may have damaged it as it was working after it had been in the water but it won't now. It just won't turn on. It is now in the rice, will it ever work again?
