IPhone 5 has white lines going vertically and is unresponsive?
My iPhone 5 is about 5 months old. I dropped it once, but the only problem was the cracked screen which was replaced. I turned it on and could only slide the bar about halfway. Soon after 6 white lines appeared vertically on the right side of the screen. Everything left of the lines is responsive, but on the other half the screen, nothing works. I can't turn off the phone because you must slide an arrow across the screen.
Added (1). The screen was replaced by a professional.
Added (2). The screen was replaced a few months ago, so I don't know why I would have a problem now.
Did you replace it yourself? If you did your screwed unless you find a place to fix it.
Sounds like the screen was replace somewhere else than apple.
if thats true your warranty is void, sell it for parts.
if apple replaced it take it back.
- Why do I look different when I take pictures on my iphone horizontally and vertically? So I realized that every time someone takes a video or a picture of me, I end up looking really short (though I'm already short to begin with) and my legs look very chunky and look less like they do in the mirror. But if I take a picture horizontally, then everything looks kind of proportionate and more importantly, my legs are a lot more nicer looking and slimmer. Is there really a difference between taking pictures horizontally or vertically or is it just me?
- Unresponsive iPhone 5S LCD Lines? Okay so I started up my iPhone 5S like everyday and I found these strange lines on my password screen, where everything is blurred. And when I open YouTube, it shows the gray screen with the YouTube logo but the lines are also there! Do I need to send my phone in for a repair? I'm not really in the mood to pay hundreds of dollars for a screen repair. And also, I'm not good at taking apart my phone.
