Iphone 5 texting issue, messages disappear after I hit send?
All of a sudden when I send a text on my iphone 5, it disappears right after I send them. The person is still receiving them however, but it is frustrating that they are disappearing.
Anyone know how to fix this?!

Added (1). Also forgot to mention that my lock button doesn't work so it is hard for me to reboot it.

Try Holding Down The Home And Power Button At The Same Time Until The Phone Fully Boots Up (Past The Apple Logo)
After, Close The Messages App In Your Multitasking Menu -
Turn Airplane Mode For 5 Mins And Then Switch It Off
- Why won't read messages disappear from my notifications tab? I've had the iPhone 6s for exactly two weeks now, and I'm continuously having this problem. One or two random texts messages a week won't disappear from my notifications tab, even after I read it. I click remove, it stays. I slide to the left and click the x or reply, and it's still there. After I turn the phone off and on it goes away, but I don't want to have to keep doing that. Any suggestions? Is this happening to anyone else?
