Iphone 5s not picking up LTE?
I just got my phone about 3 weeks ago along with a bother one and they are both displaying 4g. I looked up if lte and 4g are the same and it said LTE is slightly better. I've called att and they don't know what's going on. I ordered the iPhones from att online. I did not finish my 2 year countract when I purchased my phones. Could it be that it still thinks I'm on my other contract for the iphone 4. I checked to see if 4g LTR. Was available in my area and it is. Can anyone help me find out what's wrong with it. Ps I have LTE enabled in settings.
I have T-Mobile and it's the same thing with my iphone 5. With my cellular data enabled, I usually get 4g which is pretty fast connection. Sometimes I get LTE, but that's only when my signal is exceptionally strong. This also happens pretty rarely (never when I'm at home) and I don't notice too much of a difference from 4g and LTE, so it doesn't bother me so much as long as I have internet.
If you have limited cellular data, then I'd suggest you turn off LTE because that takes up extra data and it's basically a waste in my opinion. Keep walking around and maybe eventually when you're in a certain area you'll get LTE.
But really, don't sweat it, it's not that great. It might even cause your battery life to drain more quickly with LTE enabled, but I can't say for sure.
- Worth picking up an Iphone 4 for $279? It's not the S model, I don't believe, but is that a good price? Or can I find something significantly better for the price? If so, please drop some names for me. Would prefer if this was an established brand - respect by both buyers and tech-savvy reviewers (Cnet.com, etc).
- Why is my laptop not picking up my Wi-Fi but my iphone is? I have an 'Acer Aspire One Happy 2' laptop that runs on windows 7. I have just gone to my grans and her Wi-Fi works fine on my Iphone 4 but my laptop is not even picking up the signal. My laptop works fine at the Mcdonalds round the corner from me so why isn't it working here. I even typed it in manually and it didn't work, its not picking up any signal at all
- My iPhone isn't picking up any Wi-Fi? Last week my iPhone's Wi-Fi just stopped working. It isn't picking up any networks, not even at home. My brothers iPhones are working fine on the home network but mine isn't. Whenever I click on it, it just loads and stops - nothing else. It won't let me type the password!
- My Iphone 6 has issues picking up the Wi-Fi signal? I recently bought an used Iphone 6 online however I was never infomed that the phone had issues picking the Wi-Fi signal. I literally have to be sitting next to the router in order to get Wi-Fi and already tried all the options I've read to fix it. I would like to know what could be wrong with the phone? If one of those repairs store could fix the problem? And around how much would the cost be? If anybody has had the same issue or have seem it before!
