IPhone 6 hissing sound from speaker?

I just got my new iPhone 6 and noticed a very quiet hissing noise coming from the speaker. I noticed it when I put the speaker up to my ear when no audio was playing. It seems to start and stop. Is this normal?

That should definitely not be normal. Just take it to the Apple store (hopefully you have one nearby) and they will likely have to replace it (so back up everything before you go to save time)

  • Why is my iPhone's left speaker (for sound) not working? I had recently damaged my phone by dropping it on pavement (approximately 3 feet), and it slid about 20 feet. Just today, I noticed the the left speaker on the bottom of the phone is not working. I have a feeling that it's not working because of the impact of the phone falling (I had a snap-on case at the time).Is there any way for it to get fixed without replacing the whole phone?   • Earpod plug in but the sound come out with speaker iPhone 5? It just happen today. My earpod plug in and the sound come out the speaker. It doesn't Alway happen but sometime it happen. Like when I listen To music and I get text it comes out the speaker and when I turn the music back on, it come out the speaker so I have to unplug the earpod and plug it in again. How can I fix this?
  • On my iPhone all sound is coming through ear speaker, how do I fix this? Alot, if not all sound other than calls on speaker mode, come out the ear speaker rather than the bottom speaker next to the mic, (by ear speaker I mean the speaker you hear from during calls), any way to fix this?
  • My iPhone speaker doesn't make any sound? I tried different pairs of headphones and no headphones at all but nothing is working. There's no water damage or anything but I have dropped it a few times (the last time was a day or two before the speakers stopped working) its an IPhone 4S(if that matters) i don't have a screen protector and my case is out of the way of the speaker and i know i can probably Get the speaker replaced but I just wanted to know if I HAVE to or if I can clean it out or something
