IPhone 6 suffered from water damage?
I got an iPhone 6 from a friend and she told me it suffered from water damage. She told me about how
- home button doesn't work (you could use assistive touch)
- There are these little lines on the screen
- sometimes phone turns blue and you have to wait 10 seconds before it restarts. I didn't mind because it wasn't that bad when I used it for a few days but she also told me when you lock it it won't turn back on until it completely dies. This morning, I accidentally locked it and it completely shut down and was not turning on. I asked my friend how I'll know if it died. She said you won't, but keep trying to hold the power button down once in a while to see if anything comes up.so, when the red lightning alert comes up to charge it, then I can charge it and it'll turn back on. But if nothing comes up and the screen is black, it didn't die yet. The phone was fully charged and she said it'll take a while to turn back on. Does anyone know how long it will take for the battery to die when the phone is off?
Added (1). it's been 13 hours. I've been counting LOL
You can try putting your phone into rice so the rice will absorb all of the water that is inside the phone.
- Will my iPhone still work after water damage? It fell into a bucket of water last night and I can't turn the phone off because the screen is black. I can hear the phone ringing and vibrating, but can't see anything. I put it in a bowl of rice, is this fixable? Will the screen eventually work?
- My PC has suffered a audio crash? I was playing a video when it started getting all laggy and than the screen flashed for a moment or two. Right after all that my PC is apparently permanently mute. I examined the speakers they are connected right and play just fine on my iPhone. Would rebooting my computer remedy the problem? I don't mind doing that as long I back up every thing important.
- My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
