Typically every new iPhone has the same price as the new iPhone from the year before. But this year could be different because its possible that they're releasing different models of the iPhone 6 this year.

And about the price, I'm pretty sure the price might get higher. The iPhone 6 has a lot more to feature and especially if they use Sapphire glass then obviously the price will increase. I'm guessing it will be $700 for the off contract or maybe $729. But I think On contract will be same, $199.

It should be announced just about a month from now on the 9th September. It is expected to have the same price as the iPhone 5s now (at least the 4.7" model)

It kinda depends where you are from, and yes it will come out soon and I think it will be like $900 as the iPhone 5s right now is around $800 (I have one so I know that) :)
