Iphone 7 earphones in washer, still works?
So I'm weirded out because I accidently washed my iPhone 7 earphones because they were in my sweatshirt's pocket. I tried them thinking (of course) they wouldn't work… And they did, perfectly… Not sure how or why but.
Has this happened to anyone else? Can I still use them? They won't blow up randomly in my ears right?
Added (1). They have dried completely once i found them when I forgot I left them in my sweat shirt, by the way.
Get the iPhone 8 Plus or X
As long as your earphones are completely dry, they should be fine. Most of the mechanics of earphones deals with wires, and not much electrical, so they wouldn't have taken much damage from water I would think.
Just make sure they are dry. I'd leave them to sit for a day or so. I would recommend drying them thoroughly before you use them again.

It's not the same headphones, but it gives good tips
If they work fine, I wouldn't worry about it. However, if you want to be sure, soak them in some rice for a while.
- Saving a iPhone that went through the washer? I stupidly put my iPhone 4 in the washer for about 10 min. I have it in a bag of rice right now. But out of pure shock i tried to turn it on a few times and it didn't work, Have i ruined my chances? What should i do?
- Only one side of my iPhone earphones works? How do I make both work? Well, I've been having these earphones for a while now, and one side of the two earphones just stops working one day. I already checked to see if it's the phone's fault and not the earphones, so I'm sure that it's the earphones. Can someone tell me how to get both sides to work?
- My iPhone went through the washer? Last month my iPhone 4s went through the washer and just turned on and it says it's on 100 percent but when I take it off it turns completely off. And it says connect to iTunes… Can this new fixed?
- My iPhone 5s volume works when I have my earphones in, but not when I take them out? When I have my earphones plugged in, I can turn the volume up and down as I please, but when I take them out and press the volume buttons, it shows if the volume is up or down, but no sound comes out. How do I fix this?
