IPhone/android game development?

So I want to make either an android or iPhone 2d game like the diplomacy board game…
Also I want to be able to have players join have the game play through the Internet…
I know HTML and php and JavaScript and a tiny bit of java… Any tutorials recommendations?
Also I have windows which might be a problem for iPhone apps I think…

Windows is indeed a problem for iphone dev, you need a mac. For android, I can say alot. LibGDX is a nice library for development. Sadly it is not well documented. For learning the basic framework of android applications you will need to know java. TheNewBoston on youtube has both tutorials on pure java and on android development. The android library is well documented by google.

  • Will they ever make a Pokemon game for iphone/android? E? So mobile games have gotten pretty damn good like Infinity blade all those so why hasn't Nintendo released gameboy games like Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, or gold? I meant I'm sure iOS can handle them pretty well or even make it possible to battle other people online I'm sure they'd make a shitload of money.
  • What tools are needed for Iphone game development? Okay guys, I'm totally new to this and I have heard about cocos 2d studio, sprite kit provided by apple and of course xcode. I know the xcode is needed definitely but I'm not too sure about cocos 2d stereo and sprite kit. I don't know if I have to have both of these necessarily or not. And also what is the best strategy to just buy the animations since I don't want to spend time on graphic design and I just want to focus on game development itself?
  • What is this iPhone game? Sword game? I saw a screenshot of this iPhone game and I can't figure out what it is. In the screenshot the background is purple and there's a character jumping from one platform to another with a flaming sword. There are icons for health with hearts and a coin pouch icon and gem icon. In the screenshot I can also see an eye which is part of the background. If anyone can help, it would be great
