IPhone, Android, or Basic Phone?
What phone specifically do you have? And which team are you on and why?
I have an Android RAZR M
I prefer android.
Android
I don't have a phone, I prefer to shout, really loudly, then blame people when they don't get my call.
Windows phone Lumia 520
I have a galaxy s4, I don't play any team sports
I prefer Windows phones…
I also have an Android-based phone; specifically, the Samsung Galaxy SIII. I absolutely love it. It can do practically everything I ask of it, and then some. I used to have a BlackBerry, which was probably the best QUALITY phone, in terms of the electronics, that I've ever owned (and being in the industry, I've owned quite a few). I really liked it, but they didn't keep up with the rest of the world when it came to software functionality, which is a shame.
I did support for iPhones for several years; they have more bugs than an entomology department, and are terribly fragile to boot (look on eBay some time to see how many with broken screens and cases are being sold for parts). Apple maintains FAR too much control over them (you can't even change the battery without voiding the warranty - how stupid is THAT?), and you couldn't pay me enough to use one.
IPhone. It is So much easier to use that Android in my opinion… I jsut like the camera on Androids.
I have an iphone and I love it.
I had a basic phone. For me I'll go for android because it's affordable and a good quality. Basic phone for people who will just call, text, alarm, calculator, etc. Iphone was just over priced for me and there are many complains about stuff in apple's service and all of them were the same but the newer version has few changes:]
Nokia 3310

Android
Android because many options compared to other 2.
- Would it be crazy to go back to a basic phone? I feel like smartphones have ruined us. I've disconnected from social media and can no longer access my accounts, however I feel like it still isn't enough. I'm still addicted to my iPhone. Would it be nuts for somebody in their early 20's to ditch smartphones and go back to a basic one with standard features like text and call?
- What if I put a basic phone sim card to an unlocked iPhone? I have a basic phone which can only call (I pay about $10 a month for this). But now I have an unlocked iPhone 5s, which I use for music. So I thought, why not put the sim card in the iPhone so I don't have to carry 2 phones. I DON'T want to have to pay for data. So, if I put the "basic phone" sim card in the iPhone, will it automatically charge me for the monthly data? Like $40-80 a month? (AT&T)
- What does it mean to be basic? Like a basic white girl? If someone was a "basic white girl" or "basic," what do they do, or how do they act?
- Switching to a basic phone from an iPhone? Long story short, I broke my iPhone 5c. It was still under the 1 year warranty, so Apple is going to replace it. However, they didn't have any in stock at my local Apple Store, but they were going to get a shipment in 3-4 days. I still have an old basic flip phone, so would I be able to switch to that for the next 3 days and then switch back to my iPhone? Would my Verizon data plan affect this at all?
