IPhone backup to different computer and swapping iPhones?
Okay, I have an iPhone 4 that is synced with my home desktop computer, and I'm going to be selling my iPhone 4 to someone and buy an iPhone 5. But I want my iPhone 5 to be synced with my MacBook. What I want to do is have all the information on my iPhone 4 (which syncs with my home desktop) to sync on my iPhone 5 with my MacBook?
You need to back up with the cloud. It's in settings>iCloud>then add your account if you haven't already. If you've already done that then when you get your new phone you just put your SIM card in the 5 and download all your info from the cloud onto your phone and sync your phone to the computer. You can sync more than one device to your computer
I understood your drawback. You would like to sell your iPhone four however you made the decision to make a copy with the cloud. Move to settings>iCloud>then add your account if you have not ready. When you will manage your new phone then place to your SIM card within the five and transfer all information from the cloud into your phone and transfer your phone to the PC. You'll correct over one device to your PC. Http://www.cellitused.com/

- Swapping sim cards for iPhone conversion? I have a Samsung SGH T401G, but I want to switch to an iPhone. Can I simply buy an unlocked iPhone from eBay and swap my current sim card to change the iPhone to my info, contacts and carrier?
- Swapping phones on virgin mobile (iPhone 4)? I had an lg optimus v for vgmbl and just bought the iphone 4 for vgnmbl. Best buy activated the phone for me and everything works except the 3g. The 3g occasionally pops up but most of the time its a "o" symbol when it should be the other way around. I just noticed that 3g still works on my old optimus. Could it be that the signal is still going to my old phone instead of my iPhone 4?
- Swapping Out T-Mobile for Verizon (iPhone 5)? What would be the best way to swap out a second hand iPhone 5 16GB for T-Mobile, for an iPhone 5 16GB for Verizon? I'm purchasing the iPhone from someone who is on T-Mobile, but I have Verizon. What would be the best decision when it comes to swapping? Will Verizon do an even swap for a Good Condition iPhone 5 to new iPhone 5? Or am I just going to get a credit towards the new one? How will it work? Or would I just be better off selling it and paying the difference for a new one?
