Iphone fell in toilet! Update
So i dropped my iphone into the toilet yesterday, i dried it, turned it off but it turned itself on, i then turned it off again and it stayed off, and then i put it into a bowl of rice up until a few minutes ago.
I took it out and shook it a little bit to see if there was any water coming out, then i looked closely at the screen to see if there was any visible water in it.
I plan to leave it in the rice until tomrrow morning so just before i put it back in i clicked the home button and it was on? As i have been using my brothers ipod for facebook there was facebook message notifications on the screen.
I didn't want to mess with it so i turned it off and put it back in the rice. I'm just wondering why it turned itself on? And it seemed to be working fine! Will it be okay? Will leaving it in until the morning help it anymore?
I did this. You need to unscrew the 2 tiny screws on the bottom, and slide the back off so the water and water vapour can escape easier
Leave it in the rice for at least another 36 hours, & leave it alone in the meantime.

I'm afraid that the heat may have damaged it as it was working after it had been in the water but it won't now. It just won't turn on. It is now in the rice, will it ever work again?
