IPhone not showing up under devices?
I plugged my iPhone 3GS into my computer today and it didn't show up under devices. I was adding music from CDs to iTunes but I couldn't sync them to my phone because it didn't show up under devices. It charged so I know the USB cable is fine. How do I make it show up?
Check your device visibile settings
Restart your phone first, then iTunes, and if that doesn't work reboot the computer. If it still isn't working, reinstall iTunes.
Try unistalling the iPhone device driver (aka apple mobile device). And when you replug your iPhone, it will reinstall itself. To uninstall it, just connect your iPhone to your PC, and go in the device manager, and in portable devices uninstall both Apple iPhone and Apple Mobile Device, unplug and replug your iPhone, and it should reinstall itself…
- Why is my Iphone 4 not showing the contact names on my in-coming texts? I'm having this issue with my Iphone 4 after updating. Suddenly my text messages are not displaying the contact name, but rather just the phone number of the person sending the text. It always displayed the senders name prior to updating, and now I can;t get it to return doing so. I've tried rebooting my phone and tried to look up some info on the net, but nothing seems to work to get it back. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how did you fix the issue.
- Why factory unlocked iphone 4s is showing that the iphone is not activated? I bought factory unlocked iphone 4s on ebay for my sister-in-law who is in europe. And the seller assured that it is factory unlocked and will work perfectly. I have non activated sprint sim card and when i inserted it in to the iphone it showed that "the iphone is not activated.contact the carrier". What does it mean? Does it mean that the phone is not factory unlocked?
- Why are contacts showing up twice under messages on my iPhone? This morning when my boyfriend sent me a text it showed up under a second listing of his name instead of the one already in my messages. They are listed exactly the same, but one only contains messages from this morning. Why is it doing this/how do I fix it? I have an iPhone 4 running iOS6 that hasn't been updated since that came out in the fall. My email contacts aren't synced to my phone, so that can't be the cause.
