IPhone shows old phone number in iTunes?

Hi. I have a broken iPhone 4 that just recently sold on eBay. I completely restored it and everything but I just noticed that when plugged into my computer it says what my phone number is. I already have a new phone and am activated so this phone is not able to work on my account. How do I get this off so the person I sell it to doesn't see this? I have restored it multiple times and updated it to 7.0.4. I also can't get onto the iPhone due to the broken screen so I can't erase everything from there.

  • Why does my new iPhone 5c shows my old number under messages option? I'm trying to activate my iMessage, but I want to send & receive as my current number. However, my new, current number is not appearing. It shows my old number. I'm assuming its because I backed up my phone on my itunes to get my contacts back, But how can I fix this so it could show my current number instead of my old number that I'm not using anymore.
  • Switching number from Verizon to Straighttalk AT&T. How to keep my old number? Right now, I have a Verizon noncontract phone. I'm buying an iPhone 4 from a friend which is on the Straighttalk AT&T micro sim plan. I'm moving to the Straighttalk AT&T plan and need to know how to get my number changed over and where to get a new micro SIM card from.
  • Just switched my number to a new iphone, but my old phone still works? I just went and started an individual plan and got a new iphone 5, and they carried over my number from the virgin mobile prepaid i had before. My new iphone can make calls and send and receive texts… But so can my old phone. And when i called my cell number using my house phone, my old phone rang, but my new iphone didn't. Do i have to like cancel service or something? I'm confused about what to do, the guys at apple didn't mention anything about it.
