Iphone suddenly got burning hot?
Hi, I've got an Iphone 6 Plus and its recently began getting burning hot for no reason. I had it on charge and the battery was only half full but i took it off anyways in case tha'ts what the problem was. Its not very old I've had it for around 3 months but its not just getting warm, its burning hot so that i can't even hold it for long and keep getting temperature warnings on my screen. Any help or advice?
Added (1). I've taken it out of the case and i always shut my apps and I've put it to the lowest brightness. If i turn it off for a long time it gets cool but as soon as its on for around 10 minutes its already heated back up.
Try taking it out of the case. The case may have poor ventilation, overheating the phone.
It and the charger needs to be taken in for an inspection. Don't try to charge it until you have it fixed because it actually could be a fire hazard.
Mine never gets that way, I don't have a case.

- My iphone 4s got really hot? Last night my actual phone and not just the charger got really hot to the touch. I've only had it for about a month and thats the first time its done it. I just turned it off and turned it back on in the morning and it was fine but it freaked me out. What's wrong with it?
