IPhone: Transferring App Data not on App Store?
Can some iOS masters help me transfer app data from an app to a new phone?
The normal backup and restore from backup method works fine with all apps that were still on the app store. Right now when I try to restore it, it just says "Unable To Install '… ' The app is no longer available in the App Store."
Get an Android!
Use iTunes to back up the old phone and restore it to the new phone.
- Transferring my Iphone 4 data to my new Iphone 5? I recently just bought the iphone 5. I was wondering if i took my sim card from the 4 it would not get rid of my secret folder info. Please tell me how to transfer the data without losing the info.
- Transferring iPhone data to new MacBook I recently got a new MacBook, and want to transfer the music and data from my iPhone to this mac. I usually back my phone up with my account on our family desktop Mac, but now I have my own and want to get my phone songs on my laptop iTunes. I happened to e-mail myself a couple of songs from my desktop to my laptop, and I hope that's not a problem. Can you tell me what I can do to transfer my iPhone data to my new laptop that already has some e-mailed songs?
- Transferring game data from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5? I want to transfer all the game data from my iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 (when it comes out).Is it possible? And I'm talking about in-game data, not just the actual games/syncing. It would be nice if someone could explain how to do it or a post a link to something that does.
- Transferring data to new iphone? I got a new iphone 5s today but the guy in the shop skipped the set up meaning I couldn't restore my data using my iCloud account as their Wi-Fi in the shop wasn't working. Is it possible for me to restore my data etc… Even though I can't use the initial setup now?
