IPhone usb can't be recognized?

I tried connecting my iphone on my laptop but it says it doesn't recognize it. I've tried everything even bought a new usb cable and resetting my iphone but that doesn't work, I also tried troubleshooting and it says the unknown device is not working properly and that' Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)'.It also won't conncet to itunes. I don't know what the problem could be. Also, I tried charging it using a wall charger but that also doesn't work. The strange thing is, when i shut down my iphone and charged it using the wall charger, and when i turned it on, it actually charged. (it would only charge when turned off)

I know for me sometimes it the wire inside that may be broken or bent is it old? Go to apple store and buy a new one or get anyone

I believe you have charged it by a third party charger (i.e. Non-apple charger). The charger's over-voltage may damaged a on-board fuse which makes you can't connect or charge it when the phone is on.

You need to send it back to repair it.

Believe it or not you can make it work by just putting the usb in a different usb slot. In most cases its the usb slot right next to the one you put it in.

  • Why is Apple so keen to push USB-C with their Macbooks but they don't include USB-C on the iPhone? It seems like the Macbook department at Apple thinks USB Type C is the best thing since sliced bread but the iPhone department thinks USB Type C is work of the devil.
  • USB not recognized when iPhone is plugged in? I just updated iTunes to 11.1.4 and now it doesn't recognize my iPhone4s when plugged in - I get USB not recognized. I had the problem also with iPad but it was recognized just not in iTunes. I re-installed the driver and now the iPad is fine. Since my computer doesn't even see recognize the iPhone I can't re-install the driver. I'm sure its possible but don't know how. Have searched all over and nothing is working - any suggestions?

When I plug my wireless mouse into the USB port it works perfectly fine. So I'm not sure what the problem is. I have tried to re install iTunes and it does nothing. Whenever i plug my usb cable into the computer and then my 3 generartion iphone it just says that it's not recognized and that it has malfuctioned and the only way to fix it is to replace it? Any help would be greatly apreciated it still charges but doesn't show in itunes. And every 10-20 seconds it makes that noise when you plug in your phone and sometimes when you disconnect
