Iphone will only connect to USB 2.0 and not 3.0 port?

I have 6 USB 3.0 ports and old 2 USB 2.0 ports on my computer, I would much rather use the 3.0 port because I have 2 on the front on my PC, however my Iphone 4S refuses to work on the 3.0 port. It does work perfectly on the 2.0 port however. Is there anyway to fix this. When i plug in my iphone in the 3.0 it shows its connected but I get no charging or sync with my iphone, it just says the device is not recognized.Am i stuck using the 2.0 port onj the back or is there a fix to get it working on the 3.0?

  • Will a 1a usb port break an iphone 5 battery? I'm buying a rechargeable battery pack that has 2 usb ports 1 of them is a 1a port and the other is a 2a port.   • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • My computer USB port won't recognize my iPod but it recognizes my iPhone? Hi! Ok so I have a dell 15' laptop that's barely a year old and my USB port will accept my iPhone and flash drives, but not my iPod classic. I know for sure it's not my iPod since it was recognized on my moms computer and its not the cord because I've tried several different iPod cords… It doesn't seem to recognize my moms iphone 4 either! So if anyone knows how to fix it please please please help!
