Iphone xs max first time charge how long?

Ok i want to know how long do i need to charge my xs max phone the phone guy said 12 hours? Which is confusing half the day on charge that not right

if anyone is iphone xs max user can you help me as soon as possible

Until the battery percentage reaches 100%, there's no point in keeping it on charge when it reaches 100%

Those were old 'rules' for older battery tech. Modern day battery tech in phones (including the XS Max) doesn't need a special first charge, second charge, whatever.

However long you like.

There's no battery "memory effect" or battery conditioning required. But if you use a high output USB charger the iPhone will be fully charged or very nearly so within a typical work lunch-break.

Even a totally dead battery on a brand new iPhone takes nowhere near 12 hours to charge on the supplied USB charger.
