Iphone5 gps off since os S6?
Ever since upgrading to iOS6 on my iPhone 4, and now even using my new iPhone 5, it appears that programs that use GPS data are receiving inaccurate information. Strava, Motion GPX, and MapMyRide are all messed up now. The GPS is saying that the route travelled is about 125% - 150% of the actual distance. The recorded path shows up with lots of jiggles, and in many cases curly cues on paths that should be a straight shot. I've tried powering off, turning on/off Wi-Fi, turning off/on cellular. All paths are now inaccurate with iOS6. Anybody else notice this problem?
Yes -- the same problems for me. Besides the general poor quality of the new Maps app, my location, speed, & tracks are off by up to 100% in Map my Ride/Hike and Waze. All these apps (especially Google Maps) used to be highly accurate, but are now totally unreliable.
I was able to fix the GPS connection on my iPhone 4 by resetting Location Services (Settings/General/Reset/Reset Location & Privacy) followed by a full power off/on. So far, Waze, MapMyHike, and Maps are showing correct GPS locations and tracks…
- My iPhone 6 Plus repeatedly turns on and off since I updated it to IOS11.1? I've tried resetting it different ways, I've removed everything from the phone and started a fresh but it just keeps doing it. Has this happened to anyone before?
- Is it okay to leave my iphone5 off for 3 months? Is it okay to leave my iphone 5 off for 3 months straight? because i'm going to Marine Corps Bootcamp soon and the three months there i won't be able to use my phone. if it is okay, at what battery percentage should I turn it off at? 100%? 50%? Or should i just drain the battery and recharge it after the 3 months?
- Is it ok to take off my lifeproof iphone5 case a lot? I have a lifeproof for the iphone 5, i have to take the case off a lot because it doesn't fit on my ihome with it on and some headphones can't plug in, will me taking it off a lot make it more loose/week? Will it not be as water proof because it doesn't seal as tight?

Well my iphone 4 was working great until i instaled IOS7 and now it keeps turning off and turning back on and turns off and its been like that all day! What could i do! What's happening! when it turns on it works normally for like 2min and then turns off! help please! and i can't take it to a appel store because where i live there isn't any lol!
