Is an iphone 5 worth $200 for 16GB?

I'm planning on buying my first iphone with my own money. (I'm 14) And I just need $50 more dollars. But how much info does a 16 GB iphone 5 hold? Like what exactly does that mean?

5 is definitely best but at your age I would go 4S as its cheaper. You can always upgrade in a couple years.

It's hard to say with apps because they are all different sizes. Music is easier. Figure 250 songs per gig. Videos and movies take up a lot more space.
When it says 16 gig, that's the size of the storage, not how much you can store. Some of that is taken up with the operating system, so you probably have more like 14 gig to actually use. It isn't bad; but I have a lot of music, so I got the 32 gig.
As for the price, I know ATT charges $200 for an upgrade to a 16 gig 5. I got my wife one last week; the processor on the 5 is faster than the 4 and the camera is much better. The processor speed is important to me because I use my phone as a GPS and it keeps up better. I think it's worth the money.

I assume your asking that the price is $200 and that would be correct. I recently purchased a 5 at $200 for a 16 GB with my friend. I'm also 15 so i know were you are coming from. A 16GB should hold about a 1, 000 songs, about 50 apps depending on the size and quality of the app and also a 1000 or 2000 pictures. With app data and videos these numbers will probably be much less. Giga-Bytes is a measurement just like inches or centimeters. It refers to 17179869184 bytes which is basically the maximum amount of storage the device can hold. You might want to consider a 32GB like i bought for myself so that you don't run out of room.
