Is getting an iPhone Confusing?
I'm thinking about saving up to buy an iPhone, and I was wondering is it really confusing to get an iPhone? I have never had a phone so I'm confused. Some other questions I need to ask:
1. Where can I find a sort of cheap one?
2. Do you think I'll be able to save up?
3. Should I just settle for an iPod instead?
1.secondhands?
2.depends on how much you're making.
3. What kind of phone do you currently have. And what kind of phone are you searching for?
This is a pretty loaded question but let me try to answer it.
1) A sort of cheap one can be found at Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, or online (through Amazon or Wirefly). Note that all iPhones are going to be around $150-200 before taxes for the small storage ones. After taxes you are looking to about $200 to $250. If you really want a cheap one, wait until the iPhone 5 premieres, and the iPhone 4 and 4S will be cheaper.
Note: The problem with saving for an iPhone is not the price of the iPhone but the price of the monthly plan.
If you want a cheap iPhone plan go with Sprint because i believe it is only $70 per month for Unlimited Talk, Text and Web on an iPhone before taxes (taxes= 21-23%).
2) I'm sure if you are dedicated enough you can save up.
3) In my opinion do not get an iPod or and iPhone. Get an Android device. These can play music and has as many apps as the Apple App Store. Also, only 23% of the iPhone and iPod apps are free, 85% of the apps in the Android Market are free. Android phones also range from dirt cheap (free) to more expensive than an iPhone (Samsung Galaxy SIII or the Note). Go with a slightly older Android, preferably Samsung if you want something easy and cheaper (I suggest the Samsung Galaxy SII).

The iPhone is the simplest smart phone to purchase so if you end up getting one, you will learn it quickly. Android is a close second in terms of easiness.
- Why are boys so ignorant and confusing? This boy I like texts me first and we have a conversation then randomly he won't reply and that's it. It's not like it's a point where he can't reply because sometimes it's when we're in mid convo. I used to think my iPhone was broke… And why does he write to me then ignore me it's so confusing!
- Thinking of getting new iPhone - will old iPhone work as an iPod without sim? Am eligible for upgrade and was thinking of giving current iPhone 4 to 8 year old to use as an iPod. Will it work without a sim?
- Resetting iphone to factory & getting into an old iphone with a passcode? How can I reset my iphone 4? I sold it on ebay and don't want any old info on it. Also I have an old iphone id like to sell but I forget the passcode is thefe anyway to get into the phone?
- ITunes 90 Day lockout thing is confusing me? Okay, so I got an iPhone 5 in June, a couple weeks ago I traded for an HTC One, then I traded another guy for the iPhone 5 again because I missed it. Now, when I try to download my Music back to this phone it says "This Device is already associated with another Apple ID there 90 lockout with 2 days left" can someone explain what's going on and what I should do? I'm scared I did something wrong.
