Is iphone 5 overpriced? Should i get google nexus 4 instead?

I checked newegg.com and the iphone 5 is $830.

but google nexus 4 is $299 and its specs are a lot better. Is there any explanation?

Added (1). The galaxy 4 is 840 dollars. I don't want a 2 year contract or some craziness because i will end up paying like $1200 after 2 years finishes. That is what i'm trying to avoid

You should get anything other than an iPhone just to be different.

IPhone 5 SUCKZZ! Sold my 32gb for $500 (so yes!) and heck yes get the Nexus 4… Android is Way better, i was strictly android and got the iPhone 5 when it came out… Was very disappointed. So get the Nexus 4 its an amazing phone, or if you can get the new Galaxy S4… That phones hella crazy good ^.^

Just hang on until 15-17 May. Google might release a Nexus 5 or an updated version of the nexus 4.
I recommend you get the Nexus phone, it's great and do something nice with the 500 Dollars you save.
I have the Nexus Galaxy and I'm very happy with it. I also had a few iPhones before that. Great phone too but really too expansive.

Its totally your decision which one you will buy both one is good in their separate site. IPhone is iPhone, its not compilable with any other cell phone, cos iOs is totally different & android is totally different then ios. I'm still using iphone last 7 years & its too good too use.
