Is iPhone OS compatible with Windows on my PC?

Or would Android be better

IPhone and Android are equally compatible with ANY operating system.

It's compatible as long as you have iTunes on you pc.iTunes is very easy to download. Once you have it, you won't have any problems anymore.

As others said, iOS and Android are both compatible with Windows.

However, with Android phones you can just connect your phone with USB and away you go - copying stuff to or from your phone is as simple as drag and drop from one folder to another.

With iPhone you will be forced to use iTunes to do everything and may struggle to perform very simple tasks like copying music - which is much more difficult than on Android.

  • What are some messaging apps that are compatible with //both// iOS and Windows? My long distance friend and I would like to converse daily. We message on Skype, but it's very glitchy. She has a Windows tablet, and I have an iPhone. I also have an ANDROID tablet if you can think of messaging apps that are compatible with either iOS&Windows or Windows&ANDROID. Please give us some apps. I can't seem to find any.
