Is it bad that my iPhone 5 charger heats up really quick?
I charge my phone with the normal USB charger, and I plug it into a plug that connects to a wall, but I put it on a extension coord. But after 10% of charging (using it or not) the plug gets really hot, and when I disconnect the USB from the plug side, the metal part feels really hot (it hurts to touch it).It's been going on for a few months, but I don't see anything burnt.
No, It just means that it's doing a lot of charging. I have and iphone and I used to have an android and both chargers would get hot after a short period of time.
- My new iPhone 6 heats up when I use it? I got an iPhone 6 last week and I felt that the back of the phone gets hot when I use the phone. I thought it was a faulty one so I exchanged it for a new one, and the same problem happens: It heats up! Especially when I use Mobile data (3G/4G). - Iphone 6s heats up fast For some weird reason my iphone keeps restarting and i can feel the iphone heating up all of the sudden. I turned it off and it cooled down quickly after 10 mins. after turning it on for like 30secs it is already hot all of the sudden then my phone restarts again. is it a battery problem?
