Is it legal to sell someone's iphone not reset and passcode still on?
Added (1). Under 18, Iphone is being sold but the passcode is still on the phone, SIM is out and icloud isn't deactivated.
Hmm…
Sounds like you've stolen it and trying to sell it on.
Immoral for sure, illegal if the phone is NOT yours! Selling stolen items is a CRIME, If the phone was really "your" phone them you could just unlock the phone, right.
- Unlocking iPhone 3GS still legal? Is unlocking an iPhone 3GS still legal? I know they just passed a new law saying you can't unlock phones, but "legacy phones" are still legal to unlock. Does an iPhone 3GS count as a legacy phone?
- Master reset my iPhone 4 last night and its still not done? I erased all my data and settings last night because I'm selling it today. When I reset it, it went to the apple logo and then to the spinner that comes up when it dies. I can't hard reset it because the lock button is stuck.iTunes nor my MacBook will recognize it so I can't try to fix it through iTunes. I tried connecting it to my wall charger as well, nothing. Still spinning 8 hours later… And I've read it's supposed to only take 15 mins at most.
- Is there still a way to get on someone's iPhone 4s without a passcode? My girlfriend still has an iPhone 4s and IIm trying to get onto it without her passcode. You can probably guess why. Anyway all the methods IIm finding don't work. Is there still a way if she has the latest available software?
- Is there anyway I can bypass my passcode on my iPhone 4 or it's a 5 I'm not sure but I can't remember the passcode but I need it I know you can restore but I don't want to do that because I don't think I have the computer I backed it up to back then. And i don't know what update this is. Like I haven't see the emergency button there at all in any videos
