Is it okay to get an iPhone XR wet?

Hi! I had my phone outside while taking pictures and it was raining. It got quite wet and when I came inside i quickly wiped it off with a paper towel. Should that be good, or should I dry it another way? Also, will it hurt the speakers, camera, screen, etc. Whenever I get it wet? I got a little bit of vinegar on the small speaker one day and didn't know what to do, so I just quickly wiped it off.

Since the XR is IP67 water resistant it should be fine.

  • Will my waterproof iPhone get water damage if I wet it while it has a tiny crack? I have an iPhone 8 which is waterproof but I have a very TINY crack on the screen, you can't see it unless you look for it. I only noticed it was there because I felt it when scrolling on it. My question is, could I still get my phone wet or will it break because the water will go through the crack? I used to love taking it into the ocean with me and I'd like to take it with me while I go tubing.
  • What to do if I get I my Iphone wet? As I was unplugging my phone from charging in the kitchen, my Iphone slipped out of my and fell into the sink compeletly full of water. I took the case off and turned my phone off and out it in a bag of rice. As I was putting it in the bag of rice I notices the flas was on and it wasn't turning off. So I put the phone in anyways and now Ibasically wondering if there's anything else to do?
  • My Iphone 5 got wet. Can I take it into Apple to get fixed? The indicator did not go off. But the headphone jack is messed up and makes my music sound horrible. Also, my home button does not work. Is there anyway to maybe fix it?
  • My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
