Will my waterproof iPhone get water damage if I wet it while it has a tiny crack?
I have an iPhone 8 which is waterproof but I have a very TINY crack on the screen, you can't see it unless you look for it. I only noticed it was there because I felt it when scrolling on it. My question is, could I still get my phone wet or will it break because the water will go through the crack? I used to love taking it into the ocean with me and I'd like to take it with me while I go tubing.
Consider if you had a boat and it had a small hole in the bottom - do you think it would let in water because it is a small hole?

If it does, however, salt water will be 100 times more destructive than fresh water because the salt will corrode the components - possibly to the point that they can't be repaired.

- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
