Is it possible to fix a iPhone 5s speaker?

Paint is the problem but it might be possible to solve if the paint is in the grills. You'll need a toothbrush and paint thinner or nail polish remover. Dip the brush in the thinner and run it through the grills gently. You'll see that the paint is getting out of the grills pretty easily. After all the paint has gone, use another brush to remove the thinner from the grills and dry it. Hopefully, you'll get your sound back. And remember to turn off your phone before doing it.

- IPhone sounds play from ear speaker, not bottom speaker? Every so often, when I double click the home button, scroll over to the volume level, there's a little symbol for air play. When selected, I can play sounds from either the I phones ear speaker or the bottom (louder) speaker. However, this seems to go in and out and most of the time the air play icon isn't there. How do I fix this?
