Is it possible to unlock and jailbreak an iphone 4s now without it being a scam?

Every website I come across turns out to be a scam (i.e. IPhone-unlocker-pro). Is there a way to truly unlock and jailbreak an iPhone 4s?

Ebay has permanent carrier unlocks but prices vary according to your carrier. To jailbreak iOS 7- 7.0.6 visit the evaders website.
You can also visit youtube to find trustworthy jailbreak sites depending on your iOS version.

Unlocking yes, jailbreaking yes. Just note if your phone is under warranty, it will be voided once you jailbreak it and if you ever have to restore the phone, you may run into some issue. Apple can see if you phone has been jailbroken ever. Now for unlocking, try calling up your provider, they should be able to unlock it for a fee.

You can have your carrier unlock the phone. Those 3rd party methods tend to scams and it is in general illegal to unlock the phone via third party.

As for jailbreaking. If you are running IOS 7.1 you can't jailbreak. It is not illegal to jailbreak but you void any and all warranty you may have. So if the phone breaks Apple won't touch it.

  • Is it possible to unlock Fido iPhone without being with Fido? I'm with Chatr, is there a way I can unlock this Fido iPhone or do I have to go to Fido? In better terms, do I have to have a Fido account to unlock this phone? Or can I just walk to any Fido store and pay the unlocking fee?
  • Trying to unlock iPhone but can't find proper non-scam site? I'm trying to unlock my iPhone 4 locked to Telstra. I bought it on ebay so I don't have contact with the seller. I Can't find a cheaper way to unlock it than the $60 apple solution, I've seen a few sites that have lower prices but I can't be sure of the legitimacy of it. Anyone know a good site with some good rep that can unlock it for cheap? Please!
