Is my iPhone 8 plus logic board damaged?
Okay I dropped my iPhone and the top middle frame completly tore off… Like from corner to corner. Now my phone is saying no service and not reading the sim I have there. Did I damaged my logic board. It just says no service or searching. But zero cellular data. It is picking up Wi-Fi and touch id is working tho. Also when I put in a different company sim I get the hello screen and it leads to the sim not suported so it's reading the sim but not the signal… I just ordered a screen plus housing… Do I need to order a Wi-Fi Athena as well? Or did I just damaged the Athena bands?!
Never mind the details.
Your phone will need professional repair --- IF it can be made to work again at all.
Yeah go get it fixed at apple
- Will changing the logic board on an iphone 5s take it out of recovery mode? My iphone 5s is stuck in recovery mode / DFU. Only get an apple symbol when put on charge which keep flickering on and off. When trying to restore via itunes i keep gettin code 4005 or 3014. Would replacing the logic board fix this? If so would i need to replace any other components at the same time? any other suggestions?
- Where is the memory storage on an iPhone 4 logic board? If I take apart my iPhone 4 which part of the logic board would have the storage saved from old photos, apps, and text messages. There's a TON of old memories in my iPhone 4 and I'd really love to retrieve them.
- Where can i buy a iphone 4 logic board? I need a new iphone 4 logic board, i can't afford to get a new iphone, so I was wondering if anybody knows where to get a new motherboard. I looked on ebay, but i'm not so trusting with the sellers on there. If anybody knows of a legit site that won't break the bank, I would really appreciate it.
- What happens if you replace the logic board in an iphone 4s? I have a Verizon iphone 4s. The logic board is in perfect condition and so is the SIM card, but it is the outer components that are requiring me to get a new phone. I want to just replace the logic board and SIM card from the new phone with my old ones. Is this possible? And once I receive the new phone, can I just install my original logic board and SIM card or should I try to activate the phone first?
