Is my phone gone forever?
The other day, I dropped my iPhone 5s in the toilet. It was only in there for 2 seconds but it shut off anyway. I tried to turn it back on (I later learned that it was a mistake) but it didn't. I put it in rice for a day and pulled it out but it still doesn't work?
Your mind is what you should be worried about
More likely than not, yes, it is gone.
Hope you have a backup of your files somewhere, otherwise, you're out of luck.
IPhone 5s is outdated.
You could check an Apple Store about it.
It's done. Powering it while wet killed it, doesn't matter what you do afterwards. By the way, the rice thing doesn't work, it's a myth.
I continue to be amazed at how many people drop their phones into toilets. How does this even happen? Why do so many people hold their phones over toilet bowls?
- Why is my phone bill gone up higher? So my iPhone bill was at $25 and it increased up to $150 and now I have to pay $180. I barely do anything on my phone except go on social media s, please answer as soon as possible!
- WHY IS MY IPHONE TAKING FOREVER? I have the iphone 4 and its literally taking forever to send a text, the bar goes almost all the way… Then nothing and this phone is brand new
- Why is it taking forever for my iPhone to sync with my laptop? Its been 5 hours and still counting. Is this normal? How am i supposed to add new songs to my iPhone? Fyi, its a 4s model. Main concern is why is it so hard for me to sync my iTunes playlist to my iPhone.
- Today my dad upgraded to an iphone 10, and because he has the forever iphone plan he was able to keep his old phone and he gave it to me? I synced all of my apps and contacts from my old phone, a samsung, to the new one, when I texted one of my friends, I found out I was sending messages through my icloud address and I had no service. Is this something I'll have to call my carrier about to switch my number, or can it be done manually and from the phone's settings. If the it's the latter, what steps would I have to take?
