Is Steve Jobs the biggest tech genius of all time?

He invented the desktop form-factor with the original Apple in 1977, invented the MP3 player with iPod in 2001, invented the modern-day smartphone with iPhone in 2007, and while cancer-stricken and dying invented the tablet form-factor with the iPad in 2010.

Is he the greatest tech inventor and genius of all time? Why do Apple-haters hate him so much considering we would still be working computers the size of rooms And flip phones if it wasn't for him?

No. It was God, of course.

No. He isn't…

Yes he made the imac 2008

Steve Jobs invented nothing. He was a super salesman, nothing more.

Peter Norton,

Jagadish Chandra Bose,
Walter H. Schottky,
František Křižík (english speaker would probably call him like Franc Krizik)
André-Marie Ampère

and so SO many more people entirely vital to how you use and what you use today.

Nopers. There were other people who contributed as well, but he was the 'spokesperson' front man, so to speak.

One of them…

Apple invented none of these.

Commodore had the first consumer desktop personal computer.

Mp3 players and tablets came out in the 90s

Kyocera had the first modern smartphone.

I'm surprised you didn't credit Apple for the other things they are often erroneously credited for like the GUI, set-top boxes and networking

Steve Jobs was not an inventor, he didn't invent any of the things you listed. He was a master of marketing and an innovator in that he took other people's ideas and made them very market/consumer friendly.

Nikoli Tesla, was.
