Is the Iphone 4 or 4s worth it for Virgin Mobile?

I'm thinking of saving for a iphone 4 or 4s for virgin mobile but is it worth it? Is the service good? Is the internet good when you are not on Wi-Fi?

As far as costs are concerned, the iPhone for Virgin Mobile is indeed worth it compared to contract carriers, as instead of paying $100 or more a month for a line with an iPhone.AT&T and Verizon will charge far more than $100 a month for a single line with an iPhone, so the math that follows is just "shooting from the hip" estimation here.

Consider that the iPhone 4S can be had for around $100 with a contract that will cost $100 a month or more, you are looking at at least $2500 over the life of the 2 year contract.

Now with the iPhone 4S for Virgin Mobile being around $650, and assuming the $55 per month unlimited talk/text/data plan (there's also the $35 per month plan for unlimited text and data with 300 minutes and a $45 per month plan with unlimited text and data with 1200 minutes as well), that would run at $1970 for a 2 year period, for the $45 plan that becomes $1730, and for the $35 plan that becomes $1490, which is a significant difference.

Keep in mind that Virgin Mobile does not offer roaming, and data is not as fast as it is with a contract plan, but the savings are there, as well as unlimited data as opposed to the data caps on AT&T and Verizon.
