I have the iPhone 5 and it's still running perfect. 5s isn't that much different from the 6. You're good with the 5s.
For me "NO" it's pretty small phone for me. Also the hardware isn't good better buy a android

Yes. Apple supports all phones for 5 years. (It's a new part of the iOS Software. ) Even the 4S is still supported. The 5s is a great phone. It's fast and has an amazing camera and will be supported until 2018. It will run iOS 9 and has many features.
But if you are going to get an iPhone wait until Sept 9. It is when Apple will release the iPhone 6s. And that means all other iPhones will drop by $100. So you could get the 5S for $450. Instead of $550. Or you could stay at the same price and get the iPhone 6 for $550.
Either one is a great decision. Because they are both great phones.
