I doubt it as that hardware is missing to many things to run the new OS. 4S is free on 2 year contract so no reason to be using 4 anymore. Actually 5C is free on contract now also!

No. You can't. Don't forget, iOS 7 is very cool iOS for iPhone 4. IPhone 4 works perfect on iOS 7! If you have iPhone 4S - you can download and install last version from here.

Don't be disappointed; lots of people are going to put iOS 8 on their phones now only to find that some aspect of it sucks balls. And then they'll all come here asking "how Do I go back to iOS 7?!"

  • Is there anyway you can download iOS 5 on an iPhone 3g? Never had an iphone but when I broke my Samsung, and didn't have any upgrades available, I decided to buy a phone off amazon. I ended up buying an iphone 3g not knowing anything about iphones. Now that my update doesn't go any higher than iOS 4.2.1 I have absolutely no apps. So did I just screw myself over? Aren't there "ways" to get iOS 5 even though my phone isn't compatible? Tried emailing iTunes already and didn't really help
