Is there a best time to buy a new laptop?
For example: The iPhone 4 comes out in 2010 for $500, then the next year the iPhone 5 comes out and it is $500 then the iPhone 4 drops to $400.
Is this how laptops are released? In generations? Or do companies just sort of toss them out into the market when they're ready to be sold?
I don't want to buy a 2012 laptop right before the 2013 versions are released.
If you just want any pc laptop, you can pretty much buy it anytime. Go to Dell, HP, or any of the Taiwanese manufacturer. They don't differentiate by model years. If you want a Apple air, for example, then Apple just released its latest mac book air.
If you think this way. Yes! There's a best time. As like iPhone, Laptop price drop when a new version released. For these you may wait for releasing a new model. But it's not a good idea.
You better find any redaction online. Some time there sold many fantastic Laptop at a cheap price.

Whenever I plug in my iphone to transfer my photos and videos to my laptop, it says that there are no new items found to import.
