Is there any Iphone 5 pay as you go plan?
I want to buy the Iphone 5 but don't want to pay a whole bunch on monthly plans, especially since I rarely will use the service to call anyone.
I want to know if there's an Iphone 5 plan that lets you pay only for the minutes you use like pay as you go. I don't want a prepaid monthly plan either.
If there's no plan like that, is there a way to achieve that like unlocking the Iphone and getting a prepaid micro sim card.
Get the Samsung Galaxy S3! It's better then the iPhone 5, but not as popular. Trust me! The next big thing has already been here
Don't mind the topic changer Samsung fanboy ontop, I like Samsung phones, but they bring out a new version of the Galaxy every 4 minutes, if you really like the iPhone and want one, then usually providers only put the new iPhone on billpay for a while, then eventually release it onto pre pay, I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is how it works.
I'm looking too and I'm going to bump this up! I have the 4s on Verizon and realize that I don't use it nearly as much out of my Wi-Fi range. I don't stream music or video, but I use the apps a lot for maps and restaurant or address look up outside of Wi-Fi range.
I use less than 250 mb a month, some months less than 100 mb, as my other two family members, but we're paying an outrageous amount for this privilege. Now I want to add my soon to be middle schooler just so that I can locate him when he is out and about in the neighborhood and that he has made it okay to school by public transit.
Now if I want to add him, its no longer $10 for his phone line and $30 for data due to an existing family plan, but would end up costing double that amount bc we don't want to lose our grandfathered unlimited data plan. But if I give it up, I should really just pay for what I use. So use less and pay less instead of giving up our plan just to get less but pay the same.
Verizon is So greedy.
Anyway, one option was Air Voice Wireless, looks interesting, great pay as you go voice and text plans, data is cheaper, but not really pay as you go.
I've also heard about Karma http://www.theverge.com/...re-network, but it has not launched yet, and not exactly what I'm looking for.
Here is link to something called Freedom Pop http://boingboing.net/2012/05/10/4g-iphone-sleeve-offers-1gb-of.html
AT&T had offered pay as you go data but yanked it a few months ago when they decide to revamp their data plans to mirror Verizons.
US wireless companies suck.
Any ideas?
- What company gives a good/cheap Pay As You Go plan for iPhone? Okay so I'm planning on getting an iPhone 4S in the near future, unlocked to any company/contract, and I was wondering what phone company offers the best/cheapest Pay As You Go Plan for about 30 dollars that supports iPhone. I would like a plan with unlimited texting.calling isn't that important but I would like some good data usage too! Let me know!
- Is there a Pay as you go plan for the iPhone 4s? I've been thinking about saving up and buying myself a phone, but if I'm going to put my own money into it, I'd like something worth the money. Since I would be paying for it on my own, I was wondering if I were to buy an iPhone, is there anyway I could get a "pay as you go" type of plan where I only pay for as much as I use it, since I don't call people a lot.
- Is pay as you go better than pay monthy for an iphone? I can either can an iphone 4 (32gb with small scratch on screen) for 100 pounds and then have a pay as you go sim or an 8gb iphone 4 for "effectively 14.88 a month". Which works out the better deal?
- If you pay monthly for a phone is there anything else you have to pay? For Christmas I want an iPhone 8+ and pay it monthly. I would buy it from something like Verizon, us cellular, att, and others. Would I have to pay any other fees? Say it was like $23.50 a month for 24 months. Would I have to pay anything else after 24 months?
