Is there anyway to stop the slowing of AT&T unlimited data users?

I know by now I'm not the only person having this problem! I have an iPhone with AT&T and have been with them for 20+ years. I purchased the unlimited data plan for 1 reason, to browse All I WANT! But now they are slowing down unlimited data plans if you use over 3gb of usage which is not right! Y guess is they want us to change our plans from unlimited so they can charge us overage… I REFUSE! So If anyone else is having this problem please leave a comment and try to fight for our rights!

You need to call and complain. Then call others and complain… Then tell them they are in breach of contract.fight it in court… Ect… Ect

Call them and talk to them about it. Here are tips for getting what you want (I work in customer service so I know what gets you the most out of a company.)

1. Be kind and polite. Being angry with or yelling/swearing at the person helping you isn't going to make them want to help you. Treating them with kindness and patience will. Remember, these people you talk to don't make the policy. They might not even agree with it (but they aren't allowed to say that.)

2. State your case clearly, stick to the facts and try not to ramble. State what you want and why you think you should get it.

3. Be persistent, but if you aren't getting anywhere, ask if there's a supervisor or manager you can speak to. Sometimes a higher authority has the ability to do something special for you which a regular phone representative can't do.

4. Make notes of everything that's said and try to get any promises made to you in writing or email.

I know people who have gotten special deals using these methods. I have myself given special deals to people who I thought were getting shafted (unintentionally) by some company policy.
