Is this controlling or normal?

My boyfriend and I have been in a year relationship. Recently I noticed, he would go on my google on my iPhone, and see what I typed. You know the way what you typed would come in highlighted? He goes through every single letter and sees what I searched. When I confronted him he said ' in only trying to be a better boyfriend to see what your looking up what your too afraid to tell me. I wish you didn't find me doing it because now you will stop'.

But one thing I searched was ' should I tell my boyfriend a guy hit on me?' And something about our relationship being intense, and he confronted me telling me he saw I looked it up. Again, the other day he searched up what I look up on my I phone. He does it slyly and doesn't tell me, but he doesn't cover his tracks.

Is this normal?

That is not normal. He is being controlling.

It's not good to be controlled. I've been in a similar situation but way worse, you will get hurt badly in the end, trust me. You should stop dating him if he's being that way to you. It's not a healthy relationship if one of you or both are controlling each other. You should trust each other in any situation.

No this is not normal. He is being very nosy and digging onto stuff that isn't his business. What if you had been searching for something to get him as a surprise? He would have ruined it. He is being very controlling in your relationship.

No you need trust in a relationship, if there's no trust then things will just get worse, he is defo over protective/ possessive and sounds like he is looking for things to maybe cause an argument? Tell him to stop or I would finish it!
