ITunes won't recognise iPhone?
Can anyone help? I can't seem to get itunes to pick it up:

I have never heard this type of problem yet… Interesting!
Try your best home button work all the time just connect to pc using data cable and wait for a while then open the iTunes this time it may detect if it doesn't then you need to approach the service center only… Or try out by connecting iPhone to charger and try get into DFU mode… If it works then home button is working fine try with time variation it might work good luck
I managed to fix it (painstakingly) in the end.
I believe it may be an issue with the phone itself (the depth of the usb port hole) but i'm not certain

I plug my iphone to my laptop and it charged but when i open my itunes it supposed to pop up my iphone's name and the iphone logo beside the itunes store nothing happens and i try a lot of methods on how to fix it but it doesn't work at all… Please i really need your help!
- My iphone won't recognise the sim? I just updated my iphone to the latest ios and now it won't recognise the sim. Actually i had it unlocked… But it is not jailbroken. Is it a serious thing? Is my phone locked again?
- My iphone 5s will not turn on. Hard reset doesn't work and itunes doesn't recognise it My phone hasn't turned on in 5 days. Doesn't respond to the charger or being plugged into the computer. I've tried the hard reset a thousand times and nothing happens. ITunes won't recognize my phone so I can't do a factory reset. Can anyone tell me another way of resetting my phone?

I have just got an iphone 4s off ebay - it specified that it was locked onto the o2 network - i cut my original sim from my blackberry using a micro sim cutter so it would fit the iphone, it's needs to be set up for the first time but it isn't letting me complete the activation as the sim is not being registered. I also ensured that the sim was removed of all pin codes. Why isn't my sim being recognised?
