Kid that is 14 broke into my house 10 different times got caught?
This kid stole laptops, cash, and an iphone that is $840 to replace.
The other day my neighbor saw him crawling through one of my windows ran over yanked him down and tackled the kid. There have been many robberies in the neighborhood not just my house.
Once the kid was tackled my neighbor saw that the kid was younger that 18, and he got the kids name. Made him empty the backpack and saw nothing stolen so he let the kid go.
We caught him with a name and multiple witnesses, we know where he lives. My iphone traced back to the house he lives at, the police know this and aren't doing much.
Can I just go to his house and try and get my things back? This dude stole hella stuff and my neighbors had stuff stolen from him. We all want our stuff back and for this kid to stop breaking into peoples houses because he is for sure still doing it.
I think you should go to the kids house and ask for your stuff back. Or ask the police they search their house for all your stuff.
I would not go into his house and try to take your stuff back. If anything, approach his guardian and try talking to them, see if they can get the boy to give you back some of your stuff. Try talking to the police again, convince them to take action.
